About Alyssa
Photography is poetry. Each frame is a verse, each moment a stanza.
Alyssa Di Cara is an amateur photographer based in Luxembourg. She photographs people, cities, flowers and the small details that catch her attention along the way. Emotion is central to her work, whether it appears in a portrait, a gesture, a street or the way light falls on a familiar place or subject. She is also drawn to shapes, forms and the visual connections that emerge between people, nature and the built environment. Her photography is personal and intuitive, shaped by sensitivity, exploration, observation and atmosphere.
Alyssa draws inspiration from literature, philosophy and travel, which shape the way she looks at and understands the world. She is also interested in neuroaesthetics and the relationship between visual experience, perception and emotion.
